  • 1.  Setting actions on startup and definition download scans

I am trying to configure a policy to set "Quarantine" as the first action for all detected threats.  I've managed to do this for my Administrator-Defined scan, and for File System Auto-Protect and MS Outlook Auto-Protect, but I can't figure out how to configure Startup scans and Definition Download scans.  We had a few Definition Download detects today that I would have liked to examine in quarantine, but they were deleted.

The answer to this may be obvious, but I'm stumped.  How do I configure these scans?

Do you have those enabled ? As both are disabled by default.

I don't think you can configure those scans.

Under Administrator-Defined Scans did you choose the 'Edit' button under "Administrator On-demand Scan" and make the changes there as well?

You cannot change them from SEPM or SEP client.
