Setting up email notifications about backups

Hi guys,
Netbackup 7.0.1 on Windows server 2008
I want to configure netbackup server to be Sending messages to the administrator(email address) about successful and
unsuccessful backups, according to the admin guide it says
"To receive email notifications about backups, the nbmail.com script must be configured for Windows.
Locate install_path\VERITAS\NetBackup\bin\nbmail.cmd on a NetBackup master server. If configuring the script on the client, copy nbmail.cmd from a
master server to the client."
1. What i dont understand now is that after configuring nbmail.com on the netbackup master server, are we also going to configure nbmail.com on all the netbackup clients, if we want to be receiving messages from those servers.
2. Where is the email utility(BLAT) installed, is it installed on the netbackup master server or the email server.

1. nbmail should be configured on Master server itself. Not required on Clients. Master server will send mail alerts for all the clients.
2. Blat should be installed on Windows Master server only.
If you want client backup status on mail, then add your email on Client properties and select Server Sent mails.

Can someone pls look at the attached sreenshot and tell me if i installed BLAT correctly, although i had an error when i tried to send a textfile.txt to the email address.

I had the same issue this morning. But even if the testfile also failed, I configured the nbmail.cmd and Netbackup and everthing worked fine..
