Hello there could someone please show me how to set up PGP Desktop Email in it's latest version in order to get emails sent out via an MS Exchange 2010 server without having the recipient in the PGP addressbook?

Right now I am being asked all the time if I do want to encrypt or not...

I would like to be able to do the encryption manually myself whenever I have the need to do it.

Is it the PGP Notifier (usually seen in the lower right corner of your display) that you are seeing that you want to do away with?

It sounds like you only want encryption and/or signing done when you select this from the Outlook PGP buttons?

If my above above thinking is correct, you can accomplish this by opening PGP Desktop, clicking Edit Policies on the right hand side, and then removing the check that activates the Opportunistic Encryption policy, and then clicking the Done button on the right.

    Thanks for your reply.

Yes I have learned meanwhile that I can deactivate the default policy, but I am still searching for those PGP buttons...!? How can I manage to make them available in Outlook 2007?

PGP Options, Messaging tab: make sure Secure Mail, and Enable PGP Encrypt and Sign Buttons In Outlook are both selected.

You are welcome - that can be easily missed.  I'd appreciate it if you change the Mark As Solution to the post that actually led to your concern being resolved.
