SFHA Solutions 6.0.1: Use cases for configuring Veritas Volume Manager disk groups using vxinstall

The vxinstall utility allows you to configure Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) disk groups. It provides the following functions:

  • Licensing VxVM
  • Setting up a system-wide default disk group
  • Starting VxVM daemons when Storage Foundation (SF) has been installed manually
