SFHA/DR + VVR running on physical and virtual server

Hi,

I am setting 3 nodes cluster at production and DR site using SFHA/DR + VVR.  At production there are 2 pairs of clusters running on physicals servers. The first pairs cluster is exchange server, second pair is Ms SQL server.  At DR site, the third nodes are running as a VM on hyper-V 

I would like to check that can SFHA/DR+ VVR work in this environment with mixtual of physical and VM (Hyper-V)?

Veritas Cluster Server users can choose how they want to architect their application failover environment: virtual to virtual, virtual to physical, physical to virtual – each configuration is supported. Further, with consistent support for Windows and Linux guest virtual machines, Veritas Cluster Server provides users the ability to simplify operations while improving application availability in VMware environments.

Prior to release SFWHA 6.0.1, VCS would not have even been aware that you were installing on VMWare.  But from SFWHA 6.0.1 it is (see https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/articles/achieving-high-availability-oracle-and-vmware-vcs-602), so now you can use VMDK disks and use vMotion.

Also see post https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/vcs-install-esx which says:

Just this past October, we announced VCS and SF support for full VMDK and VMware advanced features.  Meaning you can now have an in guest cluster managing your applications (VVR included) while not disabling VMotion, DRS, SRM and even VMHA if you so choose.
