I would like to ask a question please:

Do Symantec have any plans, in the future, to add the function within Backup Exec 10x to restore individual documents from a SharePoint database?

Document restore is possible with Sharepoint 2001 and with Sharepoint 2003 configured with Web Storage System based document libraries. Unfortunately, you won't get any answer about future plans for SQL based document storage from tech support. You'll have to wait and see.

Thanks for the reply.

Is it possible to migrate from SharePoint document libraries to a Web Storage System? It is to be used with Windows SharePoint Services (not Portal Server).

Hi Michael,

Only those resources will get backed that you can see under the Sharepoint services in Backup Exec.
