Is there a way to create a short on the desktop for installed software such as Remote Desktop ?

Any help ?

Are you asking for a way to create a desktop shortcut for Remote Desktop?

You could use the XCOPY command in a script to copy the shortcut from C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop.

Is that what you were shooting for?
