Should I turn off Simplified Disaster Recovery (SDR)?

I ran jobs with SDR turned on, on 3 of my servers.  I saved the SDR data in 2 locations and on a disc.  Do I need to keep SDR turned on or turn it off until I want to update those files?  Thanks!

If you want to use SDR to recover your servers, then you need to keep SDR turned on.  By turning on SDR, BE will update the .dr files after each successful backup.  These .dr files are needed to create the SDR bootable disk for recovery.
