Endpoint Management User Group (Osterreich, Schweiz, Deutschland)

I have just built a clean Win 2008 R2 system.  I then installed SIM 7.1 which forced me to update it to the latest 7.1 version which then forced me to update it to the latest 7.5 version.

I then selected ITMS 7.1.2 MP1 and the PRC checker is failing on the three points displayed in the screenshot.

Has anyone else come across this situation before, as SIM does not provide an option to rectify this situation for two of them?

The migration failure can be rectified by downloading the package seperately (TECH174229) or by not choosing that option altogether.  :-)

Rectifying the migration failure has allowed SIM to go past the PRC phase.

If I enable the internet NIC after the machine has been started, then this problem occurs.

If I enable the internet NIC before the machine is started no PRC errors are displayed, which indicates that one or more services need to be able to access the internet.

If I now start the internet NIC after the machine has been started, the PRC check succeeds, which indicates that the service check is only required to occur once.

Correction, even if the internet NIC is enabled before the system is booted, the CRL check fails, so I am still having to enable the Next button via the registry in order to proceed with the install.

It seems that you are trying to install SMP on a German OS (your Screenshot in the initial post)

To resolve the ASDK and CRL error follow the steps below:

1. Close SIM
2. Change the Regional Settings (Format) to English US
3. Restart SIM
4. make sure that SIM starts with an English Installation Dialog
5. verify that the ASDK and CRL errors are gone
6. Install SMP
7. Change the Regional Settings (Format) back to German

Another option is to enable the NEXT Button via the registry as you mentioned above.

This should solve the error.
