This issue has been solved. See solution.

Ok. So I'm trying to install the new servicedesk 7 on a brand spanking new x64 Server (2003). I'm having problems locating the SIM manager that'll run. I found one but it will not install on 64bit server. Any assistance would be nice.

Has info I need. I agree with this post. there isn't much integrity as far as a single place to find everything without lots of searching.

The SIM runs on the NS

You install the SIM on the NS server (32-bit), there select the Service Desk 7 Solution to install. After that is complete, you will see a download link in the console. Copy the actual service desk install file over to your 64-bit Service Desk server and install it.

You can use the SQL server for the NS (32-bit) or install a 64-SQL on the Service Desk server.
