I need to temporarily disable my Small Business Protection Suite to see if it is the culprit in blocking access to an SQL DB. How to do this please?
It is possible the SEP firewall is blocking access to your DB. Try disabling the firewall on the client. You can disable from the SPC, or add an "Allow All" rule to the top of the firewall policy. You can also check the client logs and see what traffic is getting blocked and by what rule may be causing this to happen.
