    Hey Everyone,

Like so many others we are trying to automate our Windows 7 Image to Capture and Deploy as well.  We checked, but the migration guides appear to be incomplete.  https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/articles/windows-7-migration-step-2-build-standard-windows-7-images#comment-3883201 states how to capture the image, but does not mention the application of getting bootworks onto the image itself.  Does anyone have any ideas how to automate that ala Windows XP?  When we push our WinPE bootworks packages that we use for XP to our Vista or Windows 7 machines the DS states that "Package installation complete", but when you check the properties of the machine inside the DS it states that no automated partition is installed.  Additionally, when you right click the computer within the DS, select Advanced, and choose "Install Automation Partition" selecting Windows as the Preboot OS it fails as well.

The Altiris server will not send the package or the reboot properly.  It must be pulled manually by connecting to the Altiris DS server and running the package with administrator rights under Windows 7.
