This issue has been solved. See solution.
Morning,

I have noticed on one of our Media Servers that that within the Job Monitor that the Job Status indicates "Server Paused" and yet there is one active job running with no issues. The other jobs are scheduled to run this evening as required.

Am I missing something here, as I have never noticed this before.....

Any ideas or thoughts.

Regards,

Kevin.

Hi Kevin,

Normally, when you see "server paused", jobs would not be running.  To remove the "server paused" simply do the following:

1.  Select "Devices" tab in Backup Exec
2.  Right-click on the server name and select "Paused" to "un-pause" the server.

Everything should now be back to "normal".

Regards,

Christiane.

i had the same issue.  In Devices my sever was NOT paused.  So I selected pause, then I deselected pause.  now it sows up correctly.

Hi...Kwaddy ....

1. In  "Devices" tab in Backup Exec
2.  Right-click on the server name and select "Paused" to "un-pause" the server.
The toggle should resolve your problem...
This actually reinitiates the session at background and helps your jobs to run normally
