  • 1.  Site report, manually assigned Agents

I need a way to gather Site membership information for Agents that are manually assigned to a Site.  Subnet information is irrelevent here.  The clients are grouped by Filter, the static Site assignments are made to Targets incorporating these Filters.  I realize we could simply report on the Filter memberships, but I'd like to be able to confirm the actual Site assignments.  Any thoughts?

Background: We need to move away from using subnets to determine Site membership.  We are a service provider supporting many customer environments.  We only support servers, most of which are multi-homed.  We do not have control over IP configurations on interfaces that are internal to the customer environments.  So.....there are servers from multiple locations (different customers) reporting IP addresses from the same subnet.  In one case, the subnet being detected is the one used for Altiris communication, so it is correctly assigned to a Site. In the other cases, another interface/subnet is used for Altiris comms, but Altiris is making the Site assignment based on the information from another NIC.

    Thank you,

    Mark

The following query should help you obtain the information you are looking for, either in its full form or by using parts of it in your own query:-
