Symantec Management Platform (Notification Server)

IS there a way to iniate a new offline install of a component of the SMP skipping the extraction and verification of files?  I'm running into errors during the install process, and so I am having to attempt to do the install multiple times working through each the presented errors.  The problem is that each time I restart the install process, the single offline exe which contains all of the components required for an offline install repeats the process of extracting and verifying the files, which it has already done through previous attempts.  These two steps are adding a significant amount of time to each attempt that I make at installing the SMP.  If it makes any difference I am attempting to install the IT Total Management Suite on a new system which hasn't had any Symantec/Altiris solution installed on it before.

since it really is a big self extracting zip file, which contains the msi's and .xml location for download, I'm not sure much can be done. You could possibly script it, once it's been extracted, and use basic msi commands to run silent and log errors.

What actual errors are you seeing?
