Difficult to say without knowing the environment (drives, disk space, jobs etc etc)

But consider that a tape need to be mounted every time I would say MIN_GB_SIZE_PER_DUPLICATION_JOB  = 250GB and MAX_GB_SIZE_PER_DUPLICATION_JOB  = 750GB are reasonable values.

But you need to take you own environment into account. If you just have 500GB disk space both max and min need adjustment.

Assumption is the mother of all mess ups.

You can try to increase MIN_GB_SIZE_PER_DUPLICATION_JOB value.

yes, you need to consider your enviornmnet before making any chages..

what is the destination of the SLP? how many jobs it can handle at same time?

what is the data size of the backups?

how many streams that are triggering each day?

does your destination devices are sized to handle the SLP in flow?
