Are the issues your experiencing causing your DSU's to fill up? If you are running Windows, ensure that there are no NetBackup processes are terminating abnormally.  If running unix, ensure that no processes are core dumping.  If you find some processes terminating then this could mean that there is a problem in the SLP process flow of backup, duplicating or expiring of images.

Check with Support to help ensure that the duplications are working and your images are expiring properly both on Disk and the NetBackup image catalog.
