Does anyone have any performance tuning suggestions. There are a bunch for version 11 but there doesn't seem to be any articles on 12. I currently have it installed on a Windows 2003 SBS and on Windows XP SP3 clients. Network performance has been decrease. I have turned of Autoprotect on the server. Any help is much appreciated.

I think most of the

I think most of the performance tuning which is applicable to SEP will be applicable to SBE.

Some of the options like

Some of the options like changing client updates to pull instead of push are not available in the manager software. Is there another way of changing how the client updates from the server?

I dont believe so.  Much of

I dont believe so.  Much of the advanced functions of SEP are disabled or hidden in SBE 12.  It was meant for small business, single site org's in mind.  Thus much of the tuning functions are hidden as they were not needed on such small deployments.

There is an online portal, save yourself the long hold times. Create ticket online, then call in with ticket # in hand :-) http://mysupport.symantec.com "We backup data to restore, we don't backup data just to back it up."

For tuning, the only options

For tuning, the only options are to set exclusions to have SEP only scan selected file extentions.
Most tuning options are found in the "Virus Spyware  - High Performance" policy.
