Why SMC services get stop & while starting we get below mention error

"Failed to start the Symantec Management Client service. Error code returned: 0x80070422"

Please do the following and mark as solution if it works

.Open the machine's registry ( take the back up of the registry )

Thanks for the solution,But can i get reason why this problem occurs.

Hi Shivkumar,

Go control paneal and Select the Symantec endpoint Protection Manager and do repair once 

when doing repai dont change any settings once repair complete restart the SEPM console machine once and try.

download the Nortan security scan tool and update with latest Symantec virus definition and run system full scanning in system safe mode.
