    Hi All,

    Any idea how to troubleshoot deeper this issue?

    It looks like we are timing out during the download. What is your timeout setting under Virus -> Liveupdate?

    version 9.5.4-4

    live update 30 minutes

    and we also have errors, Sometimes we have 2 days delay with live update

    JDavis is most probably correct.

    We raised a case and it seems after increasing the time out to from 20 mins to maximum (in our case 1 day), the LU was finally successful.

     

    So it's due to network slow is it? strangely we never had this kind of problem before....

    Our virus definitions have gotten large lately, so many people are running into this issue. It could be as simple as throttling on your firewall that your network administrator set up or network congestion at the time the definitions are being downloaded.

    Just curious, how big the current defs compared to last few months?

    I think the normal defs for SEP is around 150-180mb.... is it the same?
