  • 1.  SMG: Can we set dual IP at CC for managment purpose?

    Hi All,

As per above, since we have 2 NIC in the appliance can we set the secondary NIC with management ip segment/subnet?

Customer wanted to access the GUI from different IP (via management segment/subnet)

    Regards

Yes, the web service listens to all incoming requests on port 41443, regardless of how many IP addresses you assign to the Messaging Gateway.

    Hi Davis,

    Well noted!

So it won't be a problem to have 172.x as the primary CC ip at first NIC and the second NIC card with 10.x ?

It's the same for Scanner function?

can we make use of multiple NIC to make them accessible to different segment/subnet?

Scanners can only accept mail on one IP and send on another, it cannot accept and send mail from both interfaces simiultaneously. You will need to configure your routers and switches correctly to route the traffic through your network.
