    When someone mistake and send an email like: Nir@gmaik.com (instead of gmail.com)

    He should automatically get NDR message from the brightmail.

     

    Our Topology:

    x2 - Outbound scanners

    x2 - Inbound scanners

    The NDR depends, whether or not the email can be delivered. So if f.e. either by a temp network issue, bounce by the destination mta or wrong non-existing domain the SMG-MTA is unable to deliver and will automatically creates a NDR and send to the sender. Futhermore if not other specified the mail will be retried in accordance to RFC.
