I have created a software package that just has one msiexec /x {guid} command line and no software source files. I configured the command line as Uninstall, Install and Custom. I am able to deploy the package in a quick delivery task and within a job...however...
If I configure the package command line as Uninstall and check the box for default, I receive an error requesting it from the Software Portal and the portal settings disables itself. Same if I configure the pacakge command line as Custom.
Also, if designate the command line as Install, the Software Portal allows me to request the package but still fails.
My question is... how should I configure a package that doesnt have any software associated with it...just a command line statement... and make it requestable within the Software Portal?
