Right now we have SMP 7.1 and if I remember correctly, SQL Authentication was required during the installation.  We have fairly strict security requirements, so that meant bringing up a new SQL Server dedicated to Altiris.  The other piece that triggered this was the need to add a service or computer account running the SMP front end to the Local Administrators group of the SQL Server.

Is it possible, with the latest release of SMP, to get away from these requirement?

Also, is there a complete Kerberos guide for SMP?
