We are now planning to upgrade everything to 7.5 but found this issue. We are using this Getpackageinfo.vbs in WinPe to download sources from closest Package server. Is there any way how we can bypass this feature?

Unfortunatelly you cannot bypass the feature, the response is now encrypted for security reasons - package integirity check has been introduced in 7.5.

There is way to get the the package sources using agent's COM interfaces if you have agent installed in WinPE, but it's much more complex approach and the caller should be running under SYSTEM account.

Bypass found:

We tried to create resource with 0000... guid in RM_ResourceComputer and setup this to Managed. This works for us

Correction: resource with null guid is not allowed and cause problems with right click options and import command lines xml files. We changed guid to not null and now it works fine.
