    Hello !

Could you please provide me any information about using NTLM and Kerberos by SMP components. For example, what type of authentication does AD connector use for AD discovery?

How it's managed in SMP? I suppose it's only kerberos? Am I right?

The only thing that I found from documentation:

Note: The Symantec Management Platform supports NTLM authentication for
remote connections. This lets you access the Symantec Management Console from
a remote computer without being prompted for a user name and password
(sometimes referred to as "single sign-on" to the console)

The agent uses the AD authentication method enforced on the Windows machine.

In Windows 2000 domains the default authentication is NTLM, so we use this method. On Windows 2003 domain Kerberos is the default authetication method, so this is used instead.

IIS is slightly different, because the initial http request is always unauthenticated, and the server requests the ntml authentication.
