SMSDOM marking emails from whitelist domains as spam

Created: 07 May 2013 | 5 comments

I am running SMSDOM 8.1.1.32 on Domino 8.5.3 and email from domains that I have added to the AntiSpam WhiteList are still being marked as "Spam:".

Is there a limit to the number of domains that can be added to this whitelist and perhaps new entries are simply being ignored?

I have Enable spam detection set, Engine sensitivity level of 3, Prepend to the subject "Spam:"; and Bypass antispam using white list set.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated,

Ned Grubb

Are you using the premium antispam or the basic antispam?

Basic.  I am licensed for Premium but it is currently disabled for my server.

Are you whitelisting domains or full email addresses? If full email addresses what is the format of the address? (first.last@example.com, first_last@example.com , f.last@example.com, flast@example.com)

Domains.  For example, thomsonreuters.com.  This is the format listed at the top of the Add/Edit antispam white list domain(s) dialog.

Any more info on this issue?  We have the same problem.  Our whitelist domain count is low, so its not that.  It seems the issue started when we upgraded to 8.1.1.32.  I think we were on 8.0.3.50 before that.  We use PAS on public facing smtp servers only, but the issue is happening with both internal and external.
