Dear All,

I have used SMSDOM v7.5 for years and everything goes fine. But in these few days, the SMSDOM qurantine many emails with excel file attached abnormally.

I did observed those qurantined attached files was able to pass the SMSDOM scanning before and I also found that all of these excel files contains formulas and the qurantine reasons are as the same as below:

One or more components could not be scanned due to scan error (Unable to extract content) from xxxxxx.xls

I also did a test on those files: I copied and pasted all the formulas as values and resent the emails, as a result they were able to pass the SMSDOM scan.
It seems that the problem source should be the formulas but it is strange as there was so many seperate cases was found at the same time.

Does anybody has any idea about this case? I will be grateful if anyone could make me some suggestion.
