  • 1.  SMTP incidents not registering

    We have installed network monitor through that we are able to register http incidents but smtp not registering ..

    What may be the reason.

    I have used DLP 11.0 & winpcap 4.1.1 & 2 for capturing.

    Is the SMTP checked ?

    Yes SMTP is checked. Also No messages are comming.

    Also Checked in drop_pcap folder .vpcap files are not getting generated when file reader service stops in console.

    Try to capture a vpcap file during your using of the HTTP and SMTP, and drop the file to the drop_pcap folder to check whether there are incidents.

    For HTTP i m getting vpcap files as well as generating incidents.

    But for SMTP the .vpcap files not getting generated into drop_pcap   folder itself. what may me the reason..
