    We scan solution integrates with Cisco 3750 and Avaya IP Phones 46xx and we are having problems because the phone is unable to authenticate with the RADIUS server (Microsoft IAS) despite the fact that the plitica configured, the phone tries to use the user policy and tried several methods but has not achieved this integration. could someone give us a tip for more advanced trouble shooting and know where the problem is, if the switch configuration or something or telephone

    Due to the variables involved, I would recomending calling support for this.

    You would need to indicate where the SNAC components are on your network - your forum post does not include what SNAC products you are using and what type of environment you have configured.

    Are the phones and SNAC agents daisy-chained?  Do your phones connect ok when connected directly to the switch?   I don't think the phones should be trying to use a policy as they do not have a SNAC agent installed on them.  Usually, MAC Authentication By-pass (MAB) is used for approving devices without an agent.

    If your phone and computers are daisy-chained to share the same switch port *and* you are trying to have each device connect to a different VLAN, you'll have to check the switch's product manual and IOS version to ensure it is capable of "Dynamic VLAN switching".
