    Hi,

SNAC service is Network access control module of SEP.

Since SEP has all modules(AV,NTP,PTP, ADC & SNAC) under one agent you will see the srevice present. If you have license of the SNAC then the service can be enabled, else it will be in stop mode.

    Hello,

Have you purchased License for Symantec Network Access Control? If not, then the Symantec Network Access Control Services are set to Manual and stopped.

Symantec Network Access Control Service - checks that the computer complies with the defined security policy and communicates with the Symantec Enforcers and/or Symantec Endpoint Protection manager to allow your computer to access the network.

Reference: Processes and Services used by Symantec Endpoint Protection

Again, SNAC is installed by default and you cannot remove or disable this service.  If the service is attempted to be removed or stopped, the automatic repair features of Symantec Endpoint Protection will reinstall or restart the service. Check this : Why is the Symantec Network Access Control Service Running On My Endpoint Computer?

    Hope that helps!!!
