  • 1.  Snag in using webform for ServiceDesk incident

I have been able to create some nice webforms that will create incidents in ServiceDesk using the CreateIncidentSimple component and everything is working as I expect...except that once I look at the incident in SD, there are no names under Process Contacts but under All Contacts the name appears as "Affected user and submitter". Does anyone have some ideas on how to get that same user to be added to "Process Contacts"? The main reason is a picky one, when you use the "My Open Tickets" report, the tickets that you have submitted through the form don't show up by default.

I switched to using the SubmitIncidentAdvancedComponent and was able to map the Primary Contact. It was a bit tricky to get the mappings right but it is now working. As a side note, I've been posting on another thread about issues with SD.RoutingRules, well I really had to switch to the AdvancedComponent because I was able for the usage of the rules, at least in custom forms, by using the DetermineAssignmentComponent as well.
