snapshot error
Hi all
I beleive i am getting good backups but everyday i get the following in one of my logs to do with my SQl server instancec
Backup- SJM-SVR-MIS.stjames.internalV-79-57344-33928 - Snapshot Technology: Initialization failure on: "SJM-SVR-MIS.stjames.internal\SIMS2008". Snapshot technology used: Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS).
Snapshot technology error (0xE0008488): Access is denied.
Check the Windows Event Viewer for details.
I have tested all credentials, and all are successful
It also appears that the DB's are being backed up
anybody wioth advise, please let me know, thank you in advance

Ps my version of backup exec is version 2012 and i have just installed the latest hot fix so version 14.0 revision 1798
i have also attached a log file

Hi
First of all it will be good to disable the AOFO option during the SQL backup.
"SJM-SVR-MIS.stjames.internal\SIMS2008".
Also check if you can connect to this SQL instance using SQL studio and then go to to security to ensure the account used here to backup has all permission ,so the account must be there in security and if not add it and then once added go to properties and then click on server roles and check all options there and click on apply and then check once again
