snapshot exchange error 196

Hi all,

I´m having a problem with my exchange policy, on the first job "snapshot job", it is scheduled to run at 8:30 PM, but the snapshot job end with 7 minutes wit status 196.

At this point I execute manual backup and run ok.

I have made a copy to test-policy and try to scheduled to another time, but the same happen.

My conclusion is that schedule doesn´t run but manual run ok, it start occur after exactly one week after daylight saving time here in Brasil.

Anybody help me?

NBU 7.5.0.6 master and client

OS windows 2008 R2 x64 master and client

Exchange 2010

could you please post the output of command bppllist <policyname> -L

also you can try creating the new policy ( not copy from existing one) as same as old one.. and see how it goes...

i have seen few of the posts ended with creating the new policy and the reason was said as corruption in schedule...

you have 2:30 hours window open.. and getting EC 196 in 7 min is odd..  

hoping new policy would be fine... 

dont forget the deacivate the old policy...

Are you sure, it ends in 7 mins? Extend the backup window. What does the job detailed status read, max job count reached for xyz storage unit?
