Client Management Suite

Hello all

We have an NS7 installation running, updated with every package that can be found for the installed solutions.

On a new machine I installed the Altiris Agent, by going to the server\NSCAP\bin\... and running AexNSC /ns=... /install /diags
Agent installs fine (5 Agents/plug-ins to begin), connects to the server, and get some more Agents installed (a total of 9 Agents/plug-ins)

Agents installed on the computer:
 - Altiris Base Task Handlers
 - Altiris Client Task Agent
 - Inventory Rule Agent
 - Software Management Framework Agent
 - Symantec Management Agent
 - Altiris Application Metering Agent
 - Altiris Inventory Agent
 - Altiris Power Scheme Agent
 - Software Management Solution Agent

I do an Update on the client and a Policy to install "Software Portal Agent" appears in the "Deliveries available for this computer" window.
Type=Managed Delivery, Status=Unknown or not started, Next Run=Not Scheduled

The task is set to install in a window between 7AM and 5PM, and to check every 15 minutes if it is compliant. If not compliant remedy rigth away.
The policy never starts. What is it I am missing in this ???

I can start the task manually on the computer, and it will do detection check, download and install, and when finished policy will be compliant.
I therefore dont think that the package is wrong.

I have other packages that we made ourselves, that behave in the exact same way (Policy goes to computer, and just sits there waiting for some manual action)

Can anybody help ???

Found out that we missed to set the "repeat" value on the schedules to "daily".
Now all software deliveries get downloaded and installed on the schedule we set, not only on the day the schedule is created.

In my opinion the small blue repeat option should be more prominent, like a dropdown or something to make people notice it.

There are several of the buttons that I wish were flashing with twirling lights, but I agree the scheduling options would look great with fireworks.
