  • 1.  Software Delivery Task and the WiseScript Progress Message not showing.

I've created a Software Delivery task that deploys a Wisescript executable that has a progress message in it. The SWD task is setup to use the system account and display level is set to normal but I cannot get the progress message to show. Does anyone have any idea how to get the progress message to pop up during the installation for anyone who is logged in or will log in during the installation?

Also I can't run it as the logged on user since many of our client's may not have local admin rights.

Did you check the option "User Input Required" under the Programs tab of your package? Try that if it's not checked

dallasr is right; that User Input Required check box is very important.  Typically nothing will be displayed in the user's session if it is not checked.  It can still run as the SYSTEM account.
