  • 1.  Software delivery task Status is reset

    I don't know why the status of software delivery task is reset.
    eg : the day one all the computer are in "success" status and some days later the status became "Not Run"

    This bug is problematic for having the status of a deployment.

    Is somebody already have this bug ?

    Are you referring to the status of the task on the actual task tab, or a report? It can really depend on a few things, primarily the type of task (automatic install vs. manual), whether or not the task is active, and the software event purging policy you have in place. The purging policy is under the configuration tab -> solutions -> software management -> software delivery -> windows -> software delivery purging policy. By default it is 7 days.
    So, as an example, if you have an automatic task, enabled and running, after 7 days, the status will be wiped out. So it's not really a bug, but it is a very good question on how all the pieces interact.

    Hi,

    I'm referring to the status of Tasks in te task tab. The type of task is automatic and this one is automatic. I didn't know there was a purge in the task status, i thought this purge works only on the non active computer.

    I will check this configuration and let you know hows it goes.

    You were right, the software delivery purging policy was 7days...
    I've changed it, wait and see now...
