Hi,
I am using NS6.0.6074 and have been doing so for the last year or so.
Recently, I have started having problems with software being deployed to machines other than what is specified in the target collection.
I have deleted the task and recreated - same problem.
I have deleted the collection and recreated - same problem.
Is happening on different tasks and collections.
When I look at status for the task, it has all the computer names I selected in the original collection, however one of these names is duplicated again and again, but with a different username assigned to it.
When I go to these 'duplicate' users actual machines (these were not part of the collection) they have the software installed. How is the software getting to these random users - the machines are what are specified in the collection.
Does that make sense?
Does anybody know why this is occuring? As a result we are unable to deploy and software or updates with any confidence as we can never guarentee who is going to receive it.
Thanks for any help
Matt
