    Hi

    We trying to configure software license information through software license.

    We added few license information in software licensing portal but in portal usage showing unsupported

    Where the use of Application Metering is unsupported.

    Otherwise you might just not have the Application Metering Agent plug-in installed on that particular PC.

    Hi

    All are client operating system i.e windows xp and all client having application metering plug-in installed.

    and see if that shows the supported OS and that the Application metering Agent is installed.

    Make sure you haven't got duplicate computer records.

    Check the support matrix on the Symantec Support site, I think it's out of support with Microsoft, often Symantec will put it out of support then.

    "Unsupported" is shown if the operating system is NOT Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7.  The flavor installed (e.g. Professional vs. Ultimate) does not matter, nor does the Service Pack level.  We pull the operating system name from Inv_AeX_AC_Identification.  Please check the [OS Name] column for the computers showing "Unsupported" and report back what the values are.  If there is a record missing, or if the field is NULL (or blank), you will also see "Unsupported" because we don't know what the OS is.
