Hi,
We have enabled the automatic liveupdate scheduled for every two hours and in the log i am getting the below error
Oct 1, 2012 6:49:59 PM The Java LiveUpdate session did not complete successfully.
Oct 1, 2012 6:49:59 PM Return code = -2,001
Oct 1, 2012 6:49:59 PM
Oct 1, 2012 6:49:59 PM User in not an administrator so configuration will not be saved
============================================================
But in the log i can see some files getting downloaded as well.
Does the aove error means the updates are not saved just downloaded and liveupdate is not working properly?
Please help me in this.
Regards,
Raj

Error 2001 indicates that Java LiveUpdate was unable to connect to any of the symantec liveupdate servers (http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?pag...). Typically this is caused by a firewall or proxy in the network blocking access.
Java Liveupdate will need access to
http://liveupdate.symantec.com
http://liveupdate.symantecliveupdate.com
If you need to configure a proxy authentication for JavaLive Update
Add the following to your liveupdate.conf (default location /etc/ may also be located in the scan engine installation directory if it is a newer version of the Scan Engine /opt/SYMScan/bin/)
proxy=ProxyIP:ProxyPort
proxyusername=UserName
proxypassword=Password
