SEPServerPatch-v6.01.exe

Manually Applying the 2010 definitions patch to Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEP)

I tried installing the exe in SEPM but faced an error.          Pls see screen shot.

Patch No Good

Hi Sandip_Sali

Can you please check that discussion as updated with details, patch does not work and it says it covers my version.....

I am usig SEP

I am usig SEP 11.0.5002.333.

Is this (SEPServerPatch-v6.01.exe) the right patch for the version I am using?

Are you using LiveUpdate on your manager?
Check for these registery keys on your server that houses the SEPM:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>Symantec>Symantec Endpoint Protection>SEPM

PatchSequence would be 0x0000001 (1) if the patch has already run.
VersionPatched 11.0.5002.333

Do you see this?

I checked but unable to see the PatchSequence under the said location.

The patch was not updated successfully.

I am getting 0x0000001 (1)

I am getting 0x0000001 (1) even though I'm getting the same error message above (at the start of this thread), and also my date still say 2009-12-31

Could the problem be in Services?

A service called Symantec auto upgrade agent is not running.  If I manually run, I get an error.
