  • 1.  Solution Center in Workflow Manager 7.5 SP1 only has 3 templates

    Hello,

     

    Not sure if this is the way it is supposed to be .... but I thought I'd clarify.  I have installed ServiceDesk 7.5 SP1 on a Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 server.  When I launch Workflowm Manager and select Solution Center I only see three templates, (DLP vShield VM Quarantine, Mobile Geofencing, and Post Mobile Enrollment Process), all dated from July 2012.  Should I be seeing more templates, which would imply I have a network issue (perhaps) or is this the total number of templates available?  Is there a location in Workflow Manager to specify the location of the templates perhaps?

    I'm not 100% sure, as my lab isn't cooperating with me at present - but I believe this has to do with whether an SMP profile you've added to your Workflow Explorer Credentials tab is able to authenticate to the Workflow repository.  I believe the SMP's installed solutions are then reported to the Workflow Solution Center, and that any template/demo projects that apply to your installed solutions are made available there.

    For example, if you're able to authenticate to the repository, and you have Patch Management installed, there should be a Zero Day Patch demo.

    Again, I'm presently unable to confirm, and thereby I could be completely incorrect, but perhaps give that a check and ensure that your workflow environment is configured properly on your SMP.  I'll see if i can get more info for you.

    Always exhibited the same items and never managed to expand the list to display more items.

    I think that only those same ... There is one more item that is the creation of request that is interesting

    Andre has a good point - maybe instead of (or in addition to) an explanation for why your Solution Center looks the way it does, you just need to find the templates.  Here's a list of the templates I have available in my SC and their URLs.
