Hi All,

I have a standard policy which takes backups for /usr/local/ directory for backing up lotus notes (.nsf and .ntf) files.

Can I restore the .nsf and .ntf files on the same server ?

SAN Media Server / Client : - AIX 6.1; NBU 6.5.4

Master : - Sun Solaris 1, NBU 6.5.4

Thanks and Regards,

Titus

The recommended way to backup

The recommended way to backup Lotus Notes is via the Notes agents.

No idea if restore from Standard backup will work.

PS: are you aware of the fact that NBU 6.x is no longer supported?

The database agent has the

The database agent has the ability to log transactions against one or more Lotus databases. If you are backing these files as a flat file and want to restore better to speak to your lotus admin first. You can restore these files as a flat file but then your lotus admin has to do couple of things to make it work.
