DLP 11.6

i need to implement DLP for a construction company,which solution pack to use in such environment.

I think you might be starting from scratch on this w/ policies and roles, etc.

I tend to view the solution packs as a starting point and then customize how the policies and security roles change etc.

If you don't load a solution pack all of the templates for creating policies are still there, just not created or enabled.

what are you trying to accomplish, are there certain policies you want..

As jjesse mentioned it is a foundation to build off of as they usually need to be modified to fit the situation or even delted in some instances as they do not fit the enviroment you are trying to delpy them in.

I would install the Classic Solutiuons Pack.

It will get most of the configuration done for you that will then allow you to add polices as needed.

Otherwsie I would look at the Manufacturing Solution Pack.

Keep in mind that you can only install 1 solutions pack period. You can then add or remove the polices you do not want.
