    Hi,
    Once installed NS_6_0, how can i see the solutions and products? i need to install something else?
    Is urgent

    Hello,

    once your NS is installed from your NS server, within the Altiris Console "http:\\localhost\altiris", go to "Configuration" tab and click "Upgrade/Install Additional Solutions".

    Select "Settings" tab then make sure that "Altiris web site" is selected in Solution Center location section.

    Click Apply to save if you had to change the option.

    Click "Download now" button to download and updated liste of solutions.

    When done, select "Currently Installed" tab. In this list, you will see installed products and if there are updates available.

    To install solutions, go to "Available Solutions" tab.

    From there you can install solutions or modules.

    You need that your server has access to an internet connection to download anything.

    hi, thanks for answering ..
     
    Once installed the NS, with the file altiris_ns_6_0.exe, I could not see the solutions and products in the configuration tab, then I install the files altiris_ns_6_0_sp3_kb39159.exe and altiris_ns_6_0_sp3_kb39160.exe, and run the console NS again and I get an error.
     
    Two things:

    1. What do I have to do to see the solutions and products from the NS console in the configuration tab?.
    2. Why, when I install these packages, NS stops working?

    If so, this needs to be configured in the Notification Server properties.

    Hello,

    to help you find what is going wrong, browse to "\Program Files\Altiris\Notification Server\Logs\".

    There are the NS log files. These files should contain explanations regarding the problem.

    You might want to install the Diagnostic Tools to help you if they are not already installed.
