Of course, the best way to recover anything, is to make a backup... But from time to time, in testing or home usage, or just stupidity, we are not allways doing correctly...

In my case, the crash was coming from the accident install of the SVS 2.1, over an installed SWV 6.1.
For sure, SVS 2.1 does not detect recent SWV 6.1 to manage the conflict, and overinstall silently, no error :-(

I try to recover, repair (a few times, from a lot of 6.1, 2.1 revisions), uninstall 2.1 (3066), reinstall latest 6.1 (5071)...
But now I am in the current situation:

Thrinket see all the layers and I can start/stop from the Trinket...
But from Admin or SVSCMD, the list is "empty". No layers at all...  So I try to EXPORT from name or GUID, I got the same "no layer" error.

C:\Documents and Settings\pk>svscmd 48C0ED09-C992-4501-A94B-072DD102E0BB EXPORT -P D:\AR7.VSA
No layer with the specified GUID or Name exists in the database.
Error: 1041

That is curious because the registry & the corresponding FSLRDR folders are there... like :

Any idea for a recovering? Thanks in advance.

I must say multitools also, see the list of my layers. Only SVS admin and SVSCMD does not see anything at all.
