Some AD users cant connect to DC after installing SEP?

Created: 25 Feb 2008 • Updated: 22 May 2010 | 3 comments

Some users comps just hang in "applying computer settings" window forever. Removing SEP solves that isssue. Tried to intall only antivirus part of SEP but same thing happens. Event log in Xp shows usernv error. They cant connect  to DC. Like 20% of comps suffer with that issue. Any suggestions for me or i just have to use other AV there?
Installation package is same as ones login works.

I am having similar problems.  Can not ping DC from clients, can not apply group policy, etc...  I've taken several steps to try and fix, but nothing works.  I've posted here as well... no answers.

hello,

if you need to implement a firewall security policy just create security rules with the network threat protection, else just disable the firewall given with SEP V11!

What are you talking about? I have only AV part installed, no firewall, no proactive threat protection. Only thing helps is to remove SEP from system.
