  • 1.  Some Clients cant register with task server

    Hi all, i am fairly new to symantec management and noticing some issues right of the bat. I am just trying to deploy some scripts or software under jobs and tasks, and some devices run them fine but others do not. I am seeing that a few pcs are able to register with task server and i can run remote software distributions, now others with same agent version seem to be trying to register but failing with an error message about exceeded number of connections. We have max connections set at 5000, now our environment has around 6000+ devices including servers, does this mean that all of them are registered with the task server therefore some devices cant? Just trying to understand the issue or pin point the setting that might me causing my issues.

    Alright so i spoke to a tech who took a look, and basically we found that task servers werent updated fully and were behind. So after pushing out those updates i am able to push the software just fine.
