Some Inventory Information missing for RHEL machine

    Hai!

     

    I am using altiris deployment solution version 6.9. I connected my linux machine centos 5.3 (RHEL based) using adlagent-2.6-65.

    In deployment console most of the information about my sytem is properly shown but some information is missing or wrongly displayed.

    Display is shown as 0x0 where as it has to display resolution and color depth values.

    Actually I want to know Is there anyway to change the way server gets information from client. Not everything but some information, Like I want to show my model and product name to be shown with different names ( or read from different file like /etc/model and /etc/product). Similarly get resolution from /etc/resolution.
