    Hi,

        One of our user Laptap Virus has corrupted many of our Microsoft Office files and .mp3 files. When I tried to open it give error.

    What exactly does it say? Do you have some form of Cryptolocker? If so, the only way to 'recover' is by restoring from a known good backup or re-image the machine. Do you have ll SEP components enabled?

    Thanks for your reply Brian,

                                          yes its crytolocker. When I rebooted the system automatically opens notepad with some instructions and they mentioned how to decrypt after payment made.

    No, it is not possible to decrypt them. Need to restore from backup or re-image the machine.
